The search is over! The new Gyro Flyer is almost certainly the best and easiest-to-fly RC helicopter available anywhere right now. We got this model in for testing some time ago. As with all helicopters, we test-fly them ourselves to see just how good they are. The Gyro Flyer is as close as we've seen to perfection!
It is so stable, accurate and easy to fly that it really was addictive. We were able to take off from any surface and accurately land back in the same spot. We even managed to land it on a book shelf and on people's hands. It's simply great fun to play with.
The secret is an advanced gyroscope system that ensures that the helicopter is always kept trimmed and balanced. Turns and manoeuvres are so precise and easy to control that anyone can look like a pro and any time you ease off the control stick the Gyro Flyer returns to an utterly stable, upright position.
This new model is now constructed from an advanced metal alloy, which adds extra strength to reduce vibration and body flex. Three-channel controls means that the Gyro Flyer offers full directional input so that it can be flown forward and backward, up and down and left and right, just like a full sized helicopter.
